This Callitris wood stump, also known as Australian cypress or White Cypress Pine , reveals a beauty shaped solely by nature, without human intervention.
Its golden honey-colored wood, crisscrossed with deep black knots, suggests that it comes from a multiple trunk. Depending on the angle, it transforms: from one side, one can make out a face with two mysterious slits, or perhaps a horse with a flowing mane; from the other, the wood takes on amber honey hues, evoking the shape of an open oyster ready to reveal its pearl.
A large and sculptural piece, it deserves to be showcased. It can be displayed as a raw work of art, its textures revealed through play with lighting, or it can be mounted on a tripod to create a unique table. This singular piece combines strength, poetry, and natural elegance.
