Immerse yourself in the heart of old Rennes with this polychrome lithograph signed by Albert Robida, dated 1880, depicts the Rue du Champ-Dolent, immortalized in the novels of Paul Féval. The pinkish and bluish tones bring to life this small, winding street, whose history dates back to the 12th century, when it housed the guild of butchers and meat-makers. The work is presented in a burr elm wood frame, which emphasizes its antique charm. There are a few scratches on the frame, but no foxing to report on the paper.
