Handwoven by Jean Halford-Thompson in his workshop in Morannes en Anjou, this luminous scarf unites tradition and creativity.

The rounded pattern comes alive in a play of vibrant colors: Majorelle blue, sapphire blue, spring green, turquoise green, and deep black. Thanks to the double silk weave, the scarf reveals different reflections depending on whether you look at the front or the back: the same hues, but reversed, like a poetic mirror.

Made from 100% natural silk, the fabric offers a soft and pleasant feel, with an appearance similar to linen.

A former tapestry artist, Jean Halford-Thompson possesses a rare instinct for color harmony. Behind each creation lies a common thread: a love of weaving, which makes these scarves far more than mere fashion accessories—they are wearable works of art. The intricate patterns are born from Jean's imagination and expertise, making each scarf exclusive and produced in very limited quantities.

Silk care: To preserve the beauty and longevity of your scarf, gently hand wash it with a neutral soap. Rinse thoroughly, gently squeeze out excess water without wringing, then lay it flat to dry. If needed, a light ironing on a low setting will restore its luster.

Jean Halford-Thomson - Weaver

Tall and radiant, with striking light blue eyes, Jean Halford-Thomson initially worked as an art tapestry weaver before dedicating herself, for over twelve years, to weaving on a horizontal loom. She has honed her skills through numerous training courses, notably in the Netherlands, with renowned specialists.

As the creator of her own designs, she selects exceptionally high-quality raw silk threads, processed in Switzerland, which she dyes herself to control the desired shades. These threads come to life on her Louët 32-shaft loom, a state-of-the-art tool that allows for greater pattern complexity and simplifies the mechanics of weaving.

Her creations, whether in vibrant or soft colors, geometric or freer shapes, are always unique; two pieces in identical colors will not have the same weave. Each piece—stole or scarf—combines elegance and comfort, and is distinguished by the feeling of softness and warmth that envelops the wearer.
